#1. I find it interesting that when you click the excitement button on this page, it takes you to the Definitions of excitement on the Web. Go MP3 Player!
#2. Weakness: problems as challenges - generally, in my perfect world, I would like to have a handle on all the challenges that could occur. That way I can plan for them, I know this is not always the case. Strength: Confidence and Technology.

#8. On the left side of this blog is a link to a roller derby RSS feed.
#9. I found that once I had established some RSS feeds, when I found one that interested me, I clicked related feeds in the menu bar at the top and then found many more links to news/info I enjoy reading about.
#10. I thought the article To a temporary place in time was interesting, I hope we are up for malt beverages!
#11. http://www.librarything.com/catalog/kdl_design - I like this site, I wish I had more time to read.
#12. This wasn't as easy to use as some of the other things on this list. Also this seems to be too time consuming for searching sites. Here is my link: http://rollyo.com/kdl_design/
#13. This is definitely a very useful thing. I receive many word files for print requests, I can see how this could be used for exchanging copy instead of they Y:Drive. Here is my published sample:
This my KDL Learning 2.0 sample document. Interesting.
This was very easy and I see how this could make your blogs very creative.
#14. Best of Web 2.0 - www.pandora.com - I have been using this site for a while now. I love it. If you are looking for music in a certain genre and are not sure of where to look for similar music - this site will help. You can enter a song title or musician that you like, and Pandora creates a new playlist containing songs that have been deemed similar.
#15. del.icio.us - I digg it. I use firefox, and this is a very unique way to bookmark pages and to find ones that are similar. I wish I had this when I was in college.
#16.
I've claimed my blog, and explored this site. I'm always surprised at the amount of information people are willing to post.#17. Wikis - I had to laugh, there was a comment about people who like controlling things and that if you are one of them, then wikis are for you. I dabbled in KDL's Wiki page, but I did not make any changes.
#18. I use social networking often. Being part of an organization that relies on community support to survive, myspace has created a great tool for us on the web. All of the WFTDA teams have a myspace, here is Grand Rapids team page - http://www.myspace.com/grderby - from here you can find Detroit, Kalamazoo, Ohio, Chicago, Philly and many other active teams. Go MYSPACE!
#19. Digital Music - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/BitTorrent This link is about BitTorrent, this is another method of sharing free uncopyrighted music. As previously stated, I love http://www.pandora.com/ and highly recommend this site to anyone looking to expand their musical tastes.
#20. Special treat - I hope this was intended for mass audience. I digg it. The machine is using us/ing us, made me chuckle nervously and feel empowered.
#21. This is fun:
This takes place at plainfield skating rink and features skaters from the Grand Raggidy Roller Girls.
#22. Podcasts - I did a search for grand rapids mi, and found this: http://www.joshleo.com/vlog/ Apparently, he has been doing vloging for 2 plus years and was featured in the press. At the bottom of my blog is an RSS widget. Check it out.
#23. Favorite discoveries: RSS feeds. I was aware of them, but had never explored them.
Affected your lifelong learning goals: This training has expanded my toolbox for learning.
Unexpected outcomes: I’m very happy to see that KDL is concerned about keeping the staff current with the new technologies.
Improvement: This program is exciting! I hope everyone makes an effort to complete it. The only thing I can think of improving is making sure people are able to complete these tasks at work during scheduled hours.
Would you again choose to participate: Having a finishing prize is a definite incentive - but after all is said and done, I’m very glad that I did this training. I am concerned that other courses may not fall into such an open category, thus my interest in completing may not be relevant to my job duties.
